I have been wanting to explore this stone graveyard in Rock Creek Park since I read this article in the Washington City Paper. In this spot not too far off the horse trail, pieces of the old sandstone facade of the US Capitol gather moss.
After seeing the ruins, what better than to head to the Capitol and see how it looks today.
